The Pampered Chef

Cooking has never really been my forte and I admit to being somewhat of a sucker for the latest appliance, gadget or cookware essential that promises to hone my cooking skills and help me deliver top-notch dishes.

That’s why, when I was invited to my long-suffering friend’s Pampered Chef party, I snapped up the invite before she could say ‘cooking failure’. For those who’ve never heard of The Pampered Chef, it’s a company that visit your home and host a small party/gathering where you get to taste delicious recipes and see how its range of cookware products work. You’re then given a chance to buy anything you like.

With wine flowing and the smell of beer bread and goat’s cheese tarts baking in the oven, host Nikki showed us all how ‘easy’ it is to be a good chef. I do think there may be little hope for me but it was a fantastic evening and there were a few little ‘goodies’ that caught my eye!

The batter bowl, from £14, can be used for mixing and has a handle to make stirring easier. Comes in two sizes.

The apple wedger, £10.50, is great for cutting apple slices for packed lunches

My favourite item? The Dots martini glasses…

£39.95 for a set of four

A perfect excuse to show off a new kitchen or update your kitchen cupboard cookware contents!
