Sola Kitchens

Last night Rachel and I were treated to a veritable smorgasbord of bespoke kitchen designs courtesy of Sola Kitchens. Just opened in Fulham’s Munster Road, the showroom is a first for the company owned by Swede Sophia Bune Strandh, who gave up her job as a solicitor to start the business just a few years ago.

A lovely mix of contemporary and classic styles, all the kitchen are made in their workshop in Southern Sweden with wood from sustainable forest so they’ve got great eco credentials. Swedish house buying trends are quite different from the UK and as they buy later and for life usually, they expect their kitchens to last a lifetime. Certainly the designs in Fulham look built to last and have a ‘forever feel’ even though the handless Sletten in dark grey (my personal favourite) is bang on trend.
